This Refund & Exchange Policy applies to services provided by Chris Caissie, PA-C, doing business as The Skin Associate.
The Skin Associate does not directly sell or fulfill retail products. All product or package purchases are processed through third-party platforms and are subject to those platforms’ policies.
1. Services
All medical and aesthetic services are final sale and non-refundable.
Due to the personalized nature of medical care, provider time, and clinical resources, refunds are not offered once a treatment or consultation has been performed.
If you are dissatisfied with your outcome, we encourage you to contact us so we can evaluate your concerns. We offer provider assessment and, when clinically appropriate, corrective treatment instead of refunds.
Corrections may be considered after the standard 14-day post-treatment period and are provided at the discretion of the provider.
Additional dosing or treatments required to achieve a different aesthetic preference are not considered corrections and may require a separate paid appointment.
2. Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments (“no-shows”), are subject to a $50 fee.
This fee compensates for reserved provider time and limited appointment availability.
3. Weight Loss & Prescription Treatments
For weight loss programs and prescription-based care, once a prescription has been sent to the pharmacy (including CareValidate or similar services), it cannot be canceled or refunded.
Medication costs and clinical services are non-refundable.
4. Third-Party Purchases
The Skin Associate does not sell or ship products directly.
All product purchases, gift cards, packages, and online sales are processed through third-party platforms such as Skin Clique or affiliated stores.
Returns, refunds, and exchanges for these purchases must follow the policies of those third-party sellers.

4. Customer Responsibility
Clients are responsible for informing the provider of any allergies, sensitivities, or relevant medical history prior to treatment.
Clients should follow all post-treatment instructions to support optimal outcomes.
If you experience an adverse reaction or concern, please contact us promptly.
Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes for services rendered are not permitted.
In the event of a chargeback, future services may be suspended and outstanding balances may be sent to collections.
